Danna Banana has won raves as a children’s music performer everywhere from the New York Post to the New York Times, plus the LA Times, Parenting Magazine, Family Fun, Nick Jr. His seven albums and energetic, interactive live shows earned him a nod from New York Magazine as ‘Best Party Entertainer’ and he won Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition for his song ‘What Would You Do’. Trained as an opera singer, Danna Banana has performed at fairs, festivals, libraries and concert halls all over the USA and done events for celebrities ranging from Rosie O'Donnell to Annie Leibovitz to Wyclef Jean.
