danna banana, family musician extraordinaire, will be performing at MONSTER MASH, in Nyack, NY, after the traditional Halloween Parade in Nyack, on Saturday October 31 at the Nyack Center in Nyack, NY.

He’ll be doing old favorites as well as new tunes, plus special (not too) spooky originals like SCARY MONSTER TRAIN, SECRET MONSTER and PREPARE TO BE SCARED. He’ll be joined by a team of wonderful musicians including Peter Moffitt on keyboards and Mark Attebery playin EWI, which stands for Electronic Wind Instrument and is like a synthesizer in the form of a clarinet! He’ll sit in on several songs, and make very evocative ghostly sounds for our MUSICAL HAUNTED HOUSE TOUR, celebrating this year’s theme– ‘Haunted Houses of Nyack’. And we end with our traditional COSTUME PARADE, where every child gets a chance to show off their costume INDIVIDUALLY, ON STAGE. This has become a hallmark and highlight of our show.

The Monster Mash is pitched for the under-8 set, so our we focus on empowering kids, and any scares are served up with a large dollop of humor and fun.
